Next Level Private Raises More Than $250,000 for Swim Across America
On Saturday, July 25, the Next Level Private team once again came together in support of Swim Across America’s Long Island Sound Swim, joining swimmers, volunteers, donors and supporters in an extraordinary day dedicated to raising funds for lifesaving cancer research.
This year, Team Next Level Private set an ambitious fundraising goal of $200,000. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we not only reached that goal, but surpassed it — raising more than $250,000 and counting.
The Long Island Sound Swim collectively raised more than $2.5 million, demonstrating the tremendous impact that can be made when a community comes together around a shared purpose.
For the Next Level Private team, however, the significance of the day extended far beyond the fundraising totals.
“The energy that Saturday morning was absolutely electric,” said Next Level Private Founder Barry Mitchell. “You could feel it in every conversation, every hug, every cheer from the shoreline and every swimmer who entered the water knowing they were part of something much bigger than themselves.”
Funds raised through Swim Across America support groundbreaking cancer research and innovative treatments, including immunotherapy research taking place within our own community. The impact is deeply personal: more hope for patients, more time for families and continued progress toward treatments that can change and save lives.
That mission, and the community that rallies behind it year after year, is what makes Next Level Private’s participation in the Long Island Sound Swim so meaningful.
“We don’t just talk about making an impact — we show up,” Mitchell said. “When there’s an opportunity to be part of something greater than ourselves, this community answers the call.”
To everyone who donated, swam, volunteered, cheered from the shoreline, shared the mission or encouraged others to get involved, thank you. Your support helped make this year’s event an extraordinary success, and its impact will extend far beyond a single morning on the Long Island Sound.
We are tremendously grateful to be part of a community that continues to show what is possible when people come together with generosity, commitment and purpose.
