Matt began his career on Wall Street 33 years ago and now brings a wealth of experience to Next Level Private, where he is dedicated to guiding clients toward financial security. Throughout his career, including recent roles at Farther Finance, Baystate Financial, and Northwestern Mutual, Matt has proven his commitment to providing clients with the support, knowledge, and strategic insights they need to reach financial independence, regardless of market conditions.

As a Financial Advocate, Matt is proud to uphold the fiduciary standard that guides Next Level Private’s mission of putting clients’ interests first. This commitment to fiduciary principles means that Matt and his team are held to a higher standard of care—something he believes is essential for delivering the quality of service his clients expect and deserve.

A 1991 graduate of Washington College, Matt earned his degree in International Studies while playing rugby and captaining the baseball team, which taught him the values of teamwork and resilience. In his advisory practice, Matt specializes in tax planning, asset allocation, risk management, helping clients navigate complex financial situations, including executive compensation challenges and estate planning.

Matt and his wife, Catherine, raised their four children—Robby, Isabelle, Matthew, and Allie—in Wilton, where they continue to live with their chocolate lab, Maisie. Known for his dedication to helping clients and community alike, Matt is deeply involved in charitable causes and enjoys giving back, including years coaching youth basketball and lacrosse. Outside of the office, Matt is an avid sports enthusiast who can often be found swimming in the LI Sound, golfing or playing paddle, bringing the same passion for teamwork and commitment to excellence that he does in his role as an advisor.
